I am in a serious relationship with another LJ user (

almsthvn). We are engaged to be married in June 2008. :)

I am a computer geek (programmer), though you probably couldn't tell by looking at me. Not your typical nerd-looking guy... maybe I need some thick black glasses with white tape on the bridge... Hmmm...

I enjoy movies (on the big screen and on DVD). I am a big sci-fi fan (Star Trek, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, X-files, etc.), though I rarely have time to watch TV these days. I collect board games (and card games) and also like to play them. I used to be into computer games but not so much anymore. I like almost all kinds of music unless there's cussing in the lyrics or it gives me a headache. I like to read and wish I had more time to do it. I've recently tried my hand at poetry and I think I like it. I may try to write more. I have been told by many that I have a good sense of humor, and I have to admit... I love to make people laugh.

I am looking at reviving my interest in photography, tennis and shooting. I love cats and dogs. I am also thinking about getting a African Grey parrot someday. Enjoy taking road trips every once in a while. I'd like to, one day, take a tour of the castles of Europe & the British Isles. I also would like to take a cruise to Alaska. I've started looking at 2 or 3 business ventures so that I can get out of the daily grind and travel some. Especially around the U.S. There's a lot I haven't seen in my own country.

I have 4 wonderful sons, 2 of whom I have custody on most weekends (for the next 5 years), the other 2 are grown and looking for their own places.

Have recently renewed/deepened my relationship with God and he's showing me a lot on becoming a better man.
